Okay so really, I seriously have so much to do right! But I thought I would hurry and write about my last day milking, while it is fresh in my memory. I now have milked cows since I was 13 years old, now I am 18. So yes, that means five years, of plenty of my shares of smoldering hot summer days, or blood freezing winter days, in the milk barn and yes the 4AM milkings. Now it has all come to an end as of Wednesday morning. It really is already a weird feeling not being there and visiting with my boss or his cute family. As for the cows...we have slowing grown on different terms. I remember when I first found out living in Oregon we were moving to a house that was right across the street and how I was so determined that would be my job(which it was). I definitely went through the phase where they were no doubt, my favorite animal and even had a cow themed room! Over the years the tables have turned and sadly my thoughts have changed on these creatures, feeling I should probably not express. I will miss my boss and his family and am so grateful for all they have done for me. I am also thankful how having a job like this has really taught me hard work! Hopefully apply my learning of hard work for school next Monday:0!! Anyways I can't believe I'm leaving to Dixie tomorrow! I'll miss all my cute friends and family! <3<3<3
You can take a country girl to the city, but she'll always be a country girl! Good Luck on the new Adventure! We'll be waiting for more blog posts to follow along.
